Fluke Sculptures
McFly is a whale I observed in Maui on January 2026 within a melee of competing humpbacks. The filigree of orca bites alluded this male was a veteran of many tribulations, but records indicate he was born just in 2021 to an Alaskan whale GrayShell. This juvenile has endured more than most of his adult counterparts, although his tail has decades worth of weathering.
